Namaste India Festival 2018

The Namaste India Festival 2018 in Tokyo showcased the art and craft of Bihar and Jharkhand, connecting the expatriate communities in Japan. The event featured traditional handicrafts like Madhubani paintings, Sikki grass products, and bamboo craft. Through exhibitions, workshops, and cultural performances, the festival fostered cultural exchange and strengthened the bond between Bihar, Jharkhand, and their diaspora in Japan.

Kanwar Yatra

The Kanwar Yatra in Tokyo brought the essence of the revered Hindu pilgrimage to Japan. Devotees carried symbolic kanwars, chanting and offering prayers to Lord Shiva. The event fostered unity, provided a sense of belonging for the Indian diaspora, and showcased the spiritual traditions of India. It served as a unique cultural exchange and celebration of faith in Tokyo.

The Bihar Diwas event held in Tokyo celebrated the rich culture and heritage of Bihar, India. Organized by the Indian community, the event showcased traditional music, dance, and cuisine from Bihar.
